Aress CSR Activities
At Aress we believe that it is not only what we do that is important but how we do it – both in and outside of the work environment. As a company and as individuals, we all take responsibility for our actions and are accountable for their consequences. But the tone is set by the corporate ethos - as expressed by Aress’ top management - and we encourage our employees to express our values in their actions.
Aress strongly promotes initiative within areas of social responsibility. We involve our staff in a variety of causes and have provided 65 volunteer days to charitable projects within our areas. Below, we outline a few examples of the outstanding work our team has.
As Part of Its CSR Initiative; Gist of Training Activities Carried Out By Aress
Aress is a socially responsible organization and is committed to the upliftment and betterment of underprivileged and marginalized communities. This is achieved through the CSR initiatives of the organization.
Apart from financial support for the CSR programs, the organization also provides its highly skilled manpower and other resources to train youths of urban and rural areas, belonging to the less privileged and marginalized sections of the society.
The emphasis is not just to train the youths, but to also provide them with good boarding and lodging facilities during the training and employment opportunities post the training, so that they not only become economically independent but gradually become a part of the mainstream society.
As part of our CSR initiatives we have successfully conducted and completed various placement linked training programs. Even now there are ongoing skill development programs and more lined up in future.
We have successfully conducted and completed the Udaan Project with NSDC. This was an initiative by the Ministry of Home Affairs (Govt. of India) and NSDC with participation from leading corporates. This program was aimed at skilling and providing employment opportunities to the youth of Jammu & Kashmir. Under Udaan, we trained more than 450 youths (Boys and Girls) and placed more than 340 students belonging to the state of J & K. Students from J & K were provided with 6 months of residential training cum placement program. This training was completely free of cost to students and they didn’t have to pay any expenses towards commuting or training. The cost of Entire infra and highly skilled professional trainers was borne by Aress. Lodging, boarding was partially supported by the Govt of India.

The Zeal and Commitment Continues:
Under PPP model, our journey as a socially responsible organisation that is committed to upliftment of marginalized & economically weaker section of society i.e. people belonging to BPL (Below Poverty Line) category in rural areas, has gained momentum & is already helping beneficiaries in the state of U.P. & M.P. We plan to further strengthen our initiatives by reaching out to other states like J & K, Maharashtra and North East States of India.
Currently Aress has taken the responsibility of providing placement linked residential training to over 1500+ BPL candidates in the states of UP and MP over next 3 years. The process of identifying more BPL beneficiaries across different states is simultaneously on and we hope to start similar training for the beneficiaries of J & K state by the end of this year.
Aress is not just aiming at training the candidates, but the endeavor is to provide sustainable, meaningful livelihood opportunities to at least 70% to 80% beneficiaries under DDU-GKY. While the program is funded by the MoRD, Aress thru its CSR initiative ensures that high quality trainers, additional facilities, sessions, recreational activities and support functions other than the ones specified by MoRD are provided to beneficiaries.
